Denette Family Chiropractic’s Response to COVID-19
Are we still open? YES! Regular hours? YES! Even Saturday morning!
Our office is considered essential at this time because we are decreasing the strain upon the PCPs and the hospitals. By having otherwise healthy people with headaches, neck and back pain etc, come to us instead of going to the hospital or ER, we are providing a vital service while keeping more people from being infected. We are also working diligently to maintain the health and wellbeing of many essential workers: first responders, truck drivers, nurses, etc. We support them by staying open.
Chiropractic care is not a cure for any illness, we simply allow the body to function at its highest level. Right now, the need for our services has never been higher. Whether it is in keeping someone out of the ER, supporting the parents who have been promoted to honorary teachers, helping the CEOs who are working tirelessly to keep their businesses afloat, helping to reduce the stress that ALL OF US are holding in our collective necks and shoulders, or the people who are struggling just to make ends meet, chiropractic is a welcome boon to all during this time.
We have been in contact with our regulatory boards, other chiropractors, and we are following CDC guidelines to ensure the safety of people coming in for care. Erin and the doctors are keeping the tables and surfaces immaculate, the tables are being sanitized after each person, there is plenty of soap, hand sanitizer is at the front desk, you no longer have to sign in, and on and on. We are doing our best to keep this a SAFE island of sanity for you and yours. If you need to, you can call in and wait in your car for your turn. For those who are older or immuno-compromised, we can set up times just for you to come in alone. We just want to keep EVERYONE as healthy as we can during this time, since the ABSOLUTE BEST thing you can do is to keep yourself at TIP TOP shape as this virus ravages our country.
In order to keep our doors open and serve our community, we ask anyone who is exhibiting symptoms, has traveled to a current region or country of outbreak or has been exposed to anyone at risk to their knowledge, to STAY HOME!
Everything is subject to change at a moment’s notice, so we will do the best we can to keep you informed. If we need to close, we will send out an email and we will post it on social media as well. We hope it doesn’t come to that, but keep opening up our emails and reading our posts!
Please let us know how we can best serve you during this time, as well. We’re here for you! If you need a question answered, please ask it! We’re planning to do some FB live videos regarding healthy strategies and homeschooling soon!
